FAQ’s

    • Art licensing is essentially a type of rental agreement in which you lease artwork from an artist or designer. In my case, you can license my design(s) non-exclusively or exclusively (more on these options below). As a licensee, you pay a fee to the licensor (the artist) to use the artwork in accordance with the terms you have agreed upon with the licensor.

    • You can view my PDF portfolio here, or you can visit my website portfolio by clicking on the Portfolio link above, which contains most of my newest designs.

    • A non-exclusive license allows you to choose one of my existing designs to be manufactured by your preferred printer and sold as finished goods in a single category. The design may also be licensed non-exclusively to other companies at the same time and will continue to be available for purchase on websites such as Spoonflower, where other people can buy the design printed on fabric, wallpaper, and other products.

    • The terms of use for an exclusive license are negotiated and agreed upon by all parties before any design work begins. As the designer, I retain the right to use the design for any other purpose not specified in the licensing agreement during the licensing period. For example, if you have exclusively licensed a design for baby bedding, I may also license the design for a different category, such as wallpaper or women's apparel. At the end of the term, you will have the first opportunity to renew the design. If you decide not to re-license, the rights to the design will revert back to me.

    • Pricing is bespoke — I take many things into consideration when I am pricing for your project (more information can be found in the pricing section).

    • Yes, all my pattern designs repeat seamlessly on all four sides, so they can be printed continuously.

    • All pattern designs are provided as high-resolution repeating tiles in .jpg file format. Generally they are 3000x3000 px and 300dpi, but this can be changed if required. They can be either CMYK or RGB, depending on your printer’s preference.

    • As the designer, I retain all copyright and ownership of the artwork and all derivative works at all times. Buy-outs can be negotiated at a higher price.
